to be frank, not getting time

my idea is to have my handwriting as a font :-)

and a good document on how to produce telugu unicode fonts

let me see how far I can go

You can have your own handwriting as a font with a tablet pc. There is a free power toy using which we can create such fonts. It currently supports only english, though. It's really cool.

I've been trying to do a similar thing with telugu. Been browsing Microsoft Typography site and the VOLT community. Hope something turns up.

Ha! Ha! Ha!

I am successful with VOLT and created Telugu Font. I posted it on the Microsoft VOLT user community.
